Esohel is a Chicago MC who’s been featured on numerous media outlets, including WGCI-FM.
Esohel started off as a grade school kid influenced by music videos displayed on The Box, a local television station dedicated to playing videos at viewers request. The Artists that helped inspire Esohel early on were the likes of Busta Rhymes, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Nas, and Chicago natives Crucial Conflict. The styles of these artists helped him develop an understanding of the art form of hiphop and allowed him to create one of his own. The independent label Under Investigation Records was formed with the help of DJ Poor and has consistently dropped music from Esohel allowing him to rock shows all over the city and has opened up for Cam’Ron, Styles P of the Lox, and L.E.P.Bogus Boys to name a few.
